Lake Charles Woman Claims FOX29 Grand Prize Package!
November 3, 2011 2:50 PM Leslie Soileau had to bring a vehicle with towing capabilities down to the studios today to claim her prize in the recent FOX29 trivia contest. Leslie watched FOX29′s Tuesday night lineup with “Glee,” “New Girl,” and “Raising Hope” so she could be prepared. Now she has a brand new 40″ Toshiba LCD TV to show for her efforts.
The question she correctly answered was from the the show “New Girl”: “Which roommate did Jess accidentally see naked?” The answer was “Nick,” and with that simple word, Leslie walked away with the TV, a cotton candy machine, a soft-serve ice cream maker, a hot-dog roller, a popcorn popper, branded condiment containers, one popcorn bowl Set and an ice cream scoop. There were, like, a whole buncha boxes for her to carry ‘n stuff — a $785 value!
(I would like to say a few words in my defense over this picture. First off, that’s the camera bag over my shoulder, not a man-purse. Not that you’d know from the manly pose I struck. Also, I’m not sure whose hairdo that is on my head, but it’s not mine. Leslie, at least, looked nice and purty for her photo shoot. And she was gracious enough to take a free TV from a weird-looking man-purse dude.)
Anyhoo, congratulations to Leslie and to all the daily prize winners who walked off with their own sets of prizes, including a 15″ Coby mini-TV, “Glee” and “New Girl” T-shirts and “Raising Hope” tote bags.
