Here in Lake Charles we are pretty lucky in the summer! There's many areas to chill or cool off from a warping hot summer day! As always we surveyed the area and got the results of the top five places to break from the summer sun and cool off!
There's nothing better than poppin' up what Smoothie King on Ryan street during a hot summer day! It is a great way to relax and cool off to take a break during the day. Another cool thing about it, it that anything you order at the Smoothie King is good and healthy!
There's nothing bad anyone can say about a Frosty from Wendy's! They are so so good and cold! It will sure knock you back in to place on a hot Southwest Louisiana summer day! My favorite kind is chocolate!
Anytime you jump into the water it's refreshing! There's nothing cooler and more refreshing in the summer time than heading to L'Auberge and jumping into the water! They have the lazy river, a pool bar, and large area for swimming.
Spar is great for the whole family! They have workout rooms and a large area with an array of things to do in the water. Water parks are always fun and refreshing during the summer days, especially in Southwest Louisiana, because it gets really hot and steamy here!
Stop by Sonic and get your favorite slushy or ice cream! Ahhhh I love everything at Sonic! I know people who just go there for a large coke! I love the cherry slush! Also while you are there you can refill on some of the great meals that have at Sonic!
